Radio, PODCASTS, AND WRITING

In addition to her work as a psychologist, Dr. Heck volunteers as a community radio creator and programmer. Most recently, she developed “The Everyday Feminist” with co-host Lois Volta. “The Everyday Feminist” aims to improve relationships through domestic and relational equality by addressing the impact of gender dynamics on the head, heart, and home. The show airs live in NW Philadelphia every Sunday from 5-6pm on G-Town Radio / 92.9FM and worldwide online at www.gtownradio.com.

Dr. Heck also created and co-hosted the radio show and podcast, “We’re All Crazy” - a pandemic-era show that focused on the intersection of psychology and modern life. Along with her co-host, Dr. Eric Spiegel, Dr. Heck explored the interactions between mental health and current society. Past episodes are available on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
