Stephanie Heck, PhD - Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Heck is a licensed psychologist and ICF-certified executive advisor practicing in Philadelphia.  She specializes in psychotherapy and coaching/advising for adults and executives with a wide range of concerns, including: feeling “stuck,” finding work-life balance, being a working parent, resolving work or personal relational problems, and confronting career and life transitions…as well as disruptive mood symptoms such as depression, anxiety, grief, overwhelm, or stress.

Dr. Heck has extensive training in a variety of psychotherapy and advising approaches, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, existential, gestalt, relational, and humanistic techniques.  Although she tends to favor a psychodynamic approach, she likes to combine what she knows in a way that suits each person’s character and circumstances.  She will work with you to find a style that is simultaneously comfortable and effective, so that you can face your challenges with grace, ease, honesty, and insight.
